UGIS (UrbanGraffitiInteractiveSimulation) is a digital graffiti system that get some determinate physic source (laser, cellphone, wiimote) and synthesize it simulating be a spray over a surface.
UGIS is based over 4 fundamental characteristics
1. Multiplicity of elements to use as spray (laser, cell phone, wiimote, etc)
2. Freedom at the projection aspect. Being able to project over outside or inside walls and over irregular surfaces, for example a car.
3. Gestures recognize system. Allow to recognize determined movements transformable in an action or in a graphic element. Thus draw a triangle can be replaced by a determined image.
4. Multitracking. Which allow working with many elements at the same time. For example, two users with a laser which one painting over the same wall.
UGIS is totally built in Processing using a modified version of BlobDetection library by V3GA
This system is based and is a wider and deeper exploration of the experience made it by the people of GraffitiResearchLab

UGIS (UrbanGraffitiInteractiveSimulation) es un sistema de graffiti digital que captura alguna fuente fisica determinada [laser, celular,wiimote] y la sintetiza simulando ser un spray sobre una superficie.
UGIS esta basado sobre 4 caracteristicas fundamentales:
1. Multiplicidad de elementos a usar como spray [laser, celular, wiimote, etc]
2. Libertad en ambito de proyeccion. Pudiendo proyectarse en paredes externas o internas, y sobre superficies irregulares como por ejemplo un auto.
3. Sistema de reconocimiento de gestos. Que permite reconocer movimientos, o conjunto de movimientos determinados transformables en una accion o en un elemento grafico. Asi dibujar un triangulo puede ser reemplazado por una imagen determinada.
4. Multitracking. El cual permite operar con varios elementos en simultaneo. Por ejemplo dos usuarios con un laser cada uno dibujando en la misma pared.
UGIS esta enteramente realizado en Processing usando una version modificada de la libreria BlobDetection de V3GA
Este sistema esta basado y es una exploracion mas amplia y profunda de la experiencia realizada por la gente de GraffitiResearchLab
