NAT.url reloaded

Hace ya unos años realizamos una obra a la que llamamos NAT.url, en su momento se nos critico no darle un cierre, no darle a la obra un cuerpo solido, estable, que le permita como a otras obras ser expuesta en una galeria habitual.
La habiamos desarrollado como una pieza poetica narrativa, mas que como objeto de contemplacion. Asi con esta metodologia fuimos creando nuestro cuerpo artistico. Donde potenciamos la experiencia vivencial de la obra, haciendo hincapie en el discurso de la experiencia, el transito, la experimentacion. Siendo el resultado final algo que por algun motivo lo veo cercano a la experiencia de leer, donde se transita la obra para contemplarla.

Aquella obra (NAT.url) la consideramos fundacional para nosotros a pesar de no ser nuestro primer trabajo juntos. Pero si fue la que nos confirmo la busqueda de un tema que desarrollamos en nuestros primeros años juntos: "La decision de encontrar un universo en el que el ser humano no es importante", donde no somos relevantes.

Quisimos en las obras que le sucedieron seguir trabajando en torno a descentralizar la realidad de la existencia humana. Esa serie de obras llego a su fin el año pasado, cuando para nosotros aquel humano ya despojado de la mirada de dios y de la relevancia universal se nos aparecio como un ser hermosamente pequeño y con la capacidad de creer no solo que dios manda a su hijo aca, sino incluso con el increible ego de creer que lo mató.

Comenzamos asi este nuevo camino, incluso tomo a esta porcion de texto, en este momento mismo que la escribo, como introduccion de al menos las proximas obras. Camino donde queremos resaltar la hermosa capacidad humana reducida a su pequeña existencia.

En este caso, sabiendo que habiamos dejado abierta aquella primera gran (en relacion a nuestro trabajo) obra NAT.url decidimos cuestionarla. Discutir con nosotros mismos.

La obra hablaba de que la naturaleza no tiene un interes central en el ser humano. Pero ahora la usamos para gritar que de todas maneras el ser humano puede ser grandioso. Aquella vez la obra proponia una planta virtual, la busqueda de la inmortalidad de la naturaleza. Esta vez propusimos la misma obra en medio de un desierto (Pampa del Leoncito, San Juan) cultivamos una planta virtual en donde nada puede crecer. La cual vivio mientras duraron las baterias. Gritamos que el ser humano puede hacer milagros cuando dios ni nos mira.
Pero por sobre todo reflexionamos.
Reflexionamos acerca del uso de una obra, de la experiencia de vida. Usamos el mismo cuerpo para cuestionar lo que deciamos antes.

Nos encontramos con que quizas es errada esa idea de las 2 caras de la verdad, yo diria ahora que la verdad tiene muchas monedas.
Esta obra es una reflexion que hicimos desde otro angulo, desde otra vision. No quita el valor a aquella primera idea, todo lo contrario, proponemos sostener la idea de que siga abierta, sin concluirse como un libro que se escribe con el pasar del tiempo.

Es reconocer que nuestra obra es nuestra vida, y que como tal tiene numerosas, bellas y dolorosas contradicciones. Distintas monedas que caen en nuestras manos y que vemos en unas de un lado y a otras del dorso.

Hoy estamos orgullosos de no haberla cerrado y vendido a una galeria, hoy me acerca a la obra, a la vida. Hoy la tomo como un libro, por alguna extraña razon. Un libro que escribo dia a dia.

A few years ago we developed an artpiece named after NAT.url and in that moment it was criticized because it wasn´t closed, it haven´t a firm and steady body who let it be exhibited on a gallery as other artworks. It was made as a narrative poetic piece more than a contemplation object. With this methodology we created our artistic corpse, where we promote the experience to live the artwork emphasizing the experience, experimentation and movement. We see in the final result something similar to the reading experience where the artwork is travelled to contemplate it.

We consider NAT.url as our stem artwork although it isnt our first work together, but it was the one who comfirmed us searching on the topic that we developed during our first years together: “ The choice to found a universe where the human being is not important, in which we are not outstanding”.
In the following artworks we worked with the intention of taking the human existence reality out of its centre. This serie ended up last year when for us that human have been strayed from god view and the universal relevance and it appeared as a small beautiful being with the capacity to believe not only that god sent his son here but also with the ego to believe that he killed him.

Now we start this new path and I take this text portion part, right now in this same moment I am writing as introduction for the next artworks. In this new path we want to standout the lovely human capacity limited to it tiny existence.
In this case knowing that we have left open that first great artwork NatURL, decided to discuss with ourselves and question it.

The artwork said that nature haven´t a central interest in the human being. But now we use it to shout that anyway the human being can be great. In that time the artwork proposed a virtual plant and the search for inmortality of nature. This time we proposed the same artwork in a desert, in the middle of a desert (Pampa del Leoncito, San Juan) we fostered a virtual plant in which nothing can grow. The plant lived meanwhile the batteries life endured and shout out that the human being can do miracles when god doesn´t look us.

Above all we thought. About the use of an artwork and life experience. We used the same body to question that we said before.
We found that maybe the idea concerning the two faces of truth is wrong, I can now say that truth have different coins.

This artwork is a reflection we´ve made from other angle and vision. It doesn´t worth out that first idea, on contrary, we propose to support the idea of the open state, without ending as a book who is written along the years that pass by.
Recognize that our artwork is our life, and as life itself it have several beautiful and painful contradictions. Different coins fall in our hands and in some of them we see from one side and others from the back.

Today we are proud because we haven´t closed it and sold it to a gallery. For some strange reason today I take it as a book which I write day by day and take me to life.
