Mar se mudó de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires a Unquillo, un pueblo de montaña en Córdoba-Argentina cuando volvió de su segundo viaje a Japón en septiembre del 2019.  Meses después, en marzo del 2020 comienza la pandemia. 

Después de la cuarentena, Mar comienza a caminar como práctica artística por ese territorio serrano. Caminar para habitar la incertidumbre, volver a conectar con la naturaleza como con las huellas del territorio y los caminantes de otros tiempos.

Las caminatas continuaron en la región de las sierras de Tajima durante una residencia artística de 40 días en marzo y abril de 2023 de Kinosaki international Art Center, Kinosaki, Japón. Mar & R3nder compartieron esas caminatas. 

Entre Argentina y Japón suman más de 170 kms y una de las coordenadas de registro fueron todos los ríos que atravesaron sus pies.

Durante el proceso R3nder se dedicó a la recopilación y extracción de los diferentes datos, uno de ellos fue relevar los ríos que fueron parte de cada caminata y utilizarlos como base para representar visualmente el patrón de movimiento de cada río.

Mar moved from Buenos Aires City to Unquillo, a mountain town in Córdoba-Argentina when she returned from her second trip to Japan in September 2019. Months later, in March 2020, the pandemic begins.

After the quarantine, Mar begins to walk as an artistic practice in that mountain territory. Walking to inhabit uncertainty, reconnecting with nature as with the traces of the territory and the walkers of other times.

The walks continued in the region of the Tajima hills during a 40-day artist residency in March and April 2023 at Kinosaki international Art Center, Kinosaki, Japan.

Between Argentina and Japan they walk more than 170 kms and one of the coordinates of registration were all the rivers their feet crossed.

During the process R3nder was dedicated to the collection and extraction of different data, one of them was to survey the rivers that were part of each walk and use them as a basis to visually represent the movement pattern of each river.

Esta obra, a través del Oshibori, muestra estos dos o cuatro ríos, de las sierras de Córdoba, Argentina y de las sierras de Tajima, Japón. Cada río está en el otro lado del mundo pero el agua es un flujo y está en constante movimiento. 

This work, through the Oshibori, shows these two or four rivers, from the hills of Cordoba, Argentina and the hills of Tajima, Japan. Each river is on the other side of the world but the water is a flow in constant movement.
